The hills are alive – with the sound of zorb balls!
If you think that Bungee has lost its bounce or that simulators just aren’t stimulating; if you’ve ever craved extreme excitement; or dreamt of giving gravity the day off; even if you’ve ever wanted to know how a hamster feels; sphereing is for you!
Sphereing is the craziest, zaniest, most adrenalin fuelled activity this side of lunar spelunking – and that hasn’t even been invented yet!
So, what is sphereing? Remember doing cartwheels when you were a kid? Now imagine if you could cartwheel down a steep hill inside a huge inflatable ball (a bit like a 12’ hamster ball) - at speeds of 30 miles per hour. Imagine the excitement; imagine the adrenalin rush as you teeter at the top of the ramp, ready to roll…
Sphereing is completely safe; you and an optional friend will be strapped into the inflatable ‘zorb’ sphere. The sphere is fully padded – for your comfort and safety. So no matter how fast you roll, you’ll emerge at the bottom of the hill unbruised, breathless with excitement and ready to roll again! Just ease back and enjoy the experience. You’ll bounce, you’ll spin; you’ll think a man can fly!
Zorb sphereing activity days are available throughout the Summer (typically April – September) and can be found in more locations by the month. Wherever you are in the UK, chances are there’ll be a zorb sphereing location within easy reach.
Sphereing is best enjoyed with friends: Stag weekends, hen parties, even honeymoons; there’s nothing quite like a 30mph hour descent down a steep hill to bring you closer together! You’ll laugh, you’ll scream; you’ll want to do it again! Be warned: when you’ve seen the world from the inside of a zorb sphere, you may never look at life in quite the same way again!
